Melt Cosmetics The Haze Eyeshadow Stack Review + Swatches
Melt Cosmetics recently launched a new collection called the Hot Box Collection and today, I am going to be talking about and swatching The Haze Eyeshadow Stack.
Melt Cosmetics Haze Eyeshadow Stack Description/Review
The Melt Cosmetics Haze Eyeshadow Stack is a magnetic stack of 4 individual shadows. Each shade contains 2.22 grams (0.08 ounces) of product, giving the stack a total of 8.88 grams (0.32 ounces) of product. Each shadow is made in the USA.
The formula of the eyeshadows in the Haze Stack is really, really good. All of the shades are metallic/shimmery shades, and each is sooo pigmented and works the same way (aka, all of the shades are good, none are bad or different to the others). When you apply the shades to the lid dry, you get a nice, pigmented subtle shimmery look, and when you use them with spray fix plus/water, they turn into EXTREMELY pigmented, bright bright metallics. Each shade is best applied with a MAC 247 shader brush if you want a really POPPIN’, bright finish on the lid.
In regards to the colour scheme, I really like it. My favourite shade in the whole stack BY FAR is Indica, which is the light silver shade. It is soooo beautiful all over the lid and blended slightly into the crease to create a kind of ‘halo’ effect. I also really like it in the inner corner of the eye and on the lower lash line. Obviously, the stack only contains shimmery shades so you will most likely need to use another palette/individual shadows that are matte, just to define the crease.
The shades Ganja, Haze and Indica are completely vegan, but the shade Bogart (the Copper Shade) contains Carmine so is NOT vegan. I wanna talk about the design/packaging real quick. At first I thought it would be like a stack that was joined together, but instead, each single pan has strong magnets in them, and they clip together like that. It is very convenient when it comes to applying eyeshadow because you can just clip out the one you want and then when you’re done clip it back in, it’s so easy and as I said, the magnets are strong so you are not going to have to take heaps of time fumbling around putting them back together.
All in all, I really like the Haze Eyeshadow Stack by Melt Cosmetics. This is the first product I have tried from the brand and I am impressed!!!
The Melt Cosmetics Haze Eyeshadow Stack costs $60.47 AUD – $48.00 USD – and can be purchased from Melt Cosmetics Online
