Too Faced White Chocolate Bar Palette First Impressions + Arm Swatches

Too Faced White Chocolate Bar Palette Description, Product Info

The Too Faced White Chocolate Bar Palette is the newest palette that has been released into the Chocolate Bar line. It contains 16 eyeshadows in matte and shimmery finishes, and like most of the Chocolate Bar Palettes, has 2 super sized pans, and 14 average, smaller sized pans. The 2 bigger shades contain 2.2 grams (0.07 ounces) of product, and the 14 regular shades contain 0.95 grams (0.03 ounces of product. This gives the palette a total of 17.7 grams (0.56 ounces) of product. It is made in the USA and is assembled in the Dominican Republic, and the eyeshadows have a shelf life of 12 months. It costs $70.00 AUD - $49.00 USD, and can be purchased from Mecca AU or Sephora USA.

The first thing I noticed about the palette was the packaging. It has the exact same hard, metal kind of outside, and the front is ALL white! It is so beautiful...

The formula of the eyeshadows reminds me a lot of the eyeshadows in the other Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes, although the mattes seem to be slighter more dry than usual, which isn't necessarily an extremely bad thing but just an observation. The shimmery shades look, feel and work the same as the the shimmery shades normally do in Too Faced Palettes. They are easy to work with, and are pigmented but seem to require a base or spray fix plus to take them to their full intensity. Again, this is just my first impression and I have yet to actually fully test out every single shade, so take this in-stride because as I start to actually play with every eyeshadow, stuff might change (this information will be in my upcoming, full review of the palette).

The colour selection/theme of the palette, I do really like it. In pan, some of the shades, notably the second row with the light shades, looked underwhelming but when I swatched them on the arm, I noticed that they are actually beautiful, frosty shades that all have different colour tones. In-Between the coloured shades, there is a nice selection of neutral and brown shades which make the palette extremely versatile. Overall, I appreciate the colour selection, but once I fully test it out, this may change.

Other than that there isn't much more to say for now except that the palette has a STRONG scent. This scent isn't any better or worse than the other Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes, which also smell very strongly of Cocoa, but it is kind of intense especially for people who do not prefer strong scents in their makeup. The smell isn't too annoying, but does seem to sit right under my nose and isn't exactly my favourite..

All in all, I am excited to dive into and play with this palette more!!
